Adhesion promoter

Phenolic resins (environmentally more and more under fire….) especially Resorcinol are used in many applications in tire and rubber compounds. There is one application where a special silicate can be used instead – replacing (at least substantially reducing) the Phenolic resin. And we can now offer this solution!
Who of us does not know about the problem with separation of two smooth surfaces, two glass plates, foil laying on a smooth, wet table or simply the sticky empty plastic bag in the super market ….
The adhesion force of two clean, electrically loaded and smooth particles can be used to replace the resins in rubberizing compounds for steel wire and steel cord.
Especially the quality and green rubber layer can be improved substantially, to avoid the visible cord or wire and the related scrap in production.
